April 12           General Meeting, North Shore Public Library, Lower level,  10:00 am. Light refreshments.
                        Program 11:00 am: Members’ ‘Show and tell.’  Bill Schiavo will facilitate a panel of members who will talk to us about ‘favorite and/or interesting’ garden related items – tools, materials, etc.  All welcome!

May 17          Garden Conservancy Open Day, Suffolk County.  The Schiavo “Woodland Garden,” Wading River, open 10:00 am – 4;00 pm.
May 18          Duck Pond Day, Wading River, 12:00 – 4:00 pm, rain or shine.  Stop by at the SGC booth for a free raffle, free plant, and pollination information. Look for the beautiful Model A Ford at our booth!
 
June
June 7          Club Trip.  11:00 am.  Guided tour of Planting Fields Arboretum, Oyster Bay. Lunch.  In the             afternoon, a possible visit to the Nassau County Museum of Art in Roslyn to view their exhibit “Garden Party”
June 9          Community Project  Wading River Duck Pond garden maintenance, 8:30-9:30 am.
June 14        Plant and Tag Sale, open 8:00 am – 12 noon, Peter Kahn’s home
June 21        Midsummer Night’s Garden Party, 4:00 pm.  Dawnmarie Piazza’s home.
 
July
 July 1            Community Project  Wading River Duck Pond garden maintenance, 8:00 – 10:00 am.

August 30     Garden Tour   Garden of club members Romy and Felix Danz.  Their garden is filled with wonderful creative ideas and is planted with beautiful perennials, annuals, and tropicals.  Romy is a garden designer and her fun ideas give you lots to think about implementing in your own garden. RSVP to Carol Ryan.
